Healthy Living Wessex

Inspiring people to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives

Accessibility

Many Internet users with disabilities find websites difficult or even impossible to use simply because of the way they are designed. We are working hard at Healthy Living Wessex to provide services and products that are helpful to all our customers, and this goes for the website, too.

We are aware of the types of adaptive technology used by people with disabilities and we are working towards ensuring compatibility with as many of these systems as possible.

If you come across a part of our site that is difficult to use please tell us about it. We intend to keep improving our accessibility - so to help us do it, contact us with your comments.

Browser and Accessibility Features

We work hard to ensure that all our pages work properly, which involves testing our pages using a variety of software for computers and browsers.

Tables

We only use tables for data. All our tables are clearly captioned so you know what data is being displayed and we ensure all columns or rows are clearly labelled.

Images

We ensure that there is a text description for all images (alt tags), unless they are being used purely for decoration or tracking.

Supported Web Browsers

Our website is designed to work in the most popular web browsers. We test our web pages on the Windows operating system, using the following browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer, versions 6 and 7, and Mozilla Firefox, versions 1.5 and 2.0. We also test our website on Apple's Mac operating system, using the Safari browser.

If you're having trouble viewing our website, please make a note of the browser you're using and the operating system and contact us. We will do our best to fix the problem. Letting us know the version of the browser you are using will also help us to identify problems.

Plug-ins

Some of our pages include content that relies on additional technologies, known as browser plug-ins. To learn more about these plug-ins or to download them to your personal computer click the links below:
